We are pleased to announce the solo exhibition with sculptures of A.R. Penck.

"Experiment with all the things you can create with pencil or chalk: lines, dots, crosses, arrows, squiggles; the name you give to these things is irrelevant, but note what all these things look like and practice imgagining them. If you do this, you will notice that each sign evokes a feeling or sensation in you, both when you actually paint it and when you simply imagine it. It is possible that a sign gives you the idea to do something. You will see that likewise, when imagining a sign, a feeling you had suddenly appears, thereby creating an experience founded in reality."

Wir freuen uns, die Einzelaustellung mit Skulpturen von A.R. Penck anzukündigen.

"Probiere aus, was du alles mit dem Zeichenstift oder der Kreide machen kannst: Striche, Punkte, Kreuze, Pfeile und Schnörkel, wie du diese Dinge nennst ist gleich, merke dir aber, wie all diese Dinge aussehen, und übe dich darin, sie dir vorzustellen. Wenn du dies tust, merkst du, daß bei jedem Zeichen bei dir ein Gefühl oder eine Empfindung erscheint, wenn du es wirklich malst, aber auch, wenn du es dir vorstellst. Es kann auch sein, daß dir bei einem Zeichen irgendeine Idee kommt, etwas zu tun. Ja du wirst es erleben, daß dir ein Gefühl, welches du hattest, bei der Vorstellung eines Zeichens auch plötzlich erscheint, und dir so ein Erlebnis schafft in der Wirklichkeit."
